EOS creates value for investors focused on specialist environmental and sustainable energy infrastructure projects. Our projects generate energy from a variety of renewable fuels, including food waste from domestic, commercial and industrial sources.
Building on our extensive experience of energy project development across a range of conventional and renewable energy technologies, we have been successful in taking a number of biogas schemes from concept through to financial close and operations.
Our team has a deep understanding of the need for investors to have certainty at all stages of a project’s lifecycle, including during the development stage. We help our partners to secure investment opportunities within the energy infrastructure sector, and to build a robust asset base producing long term returns.
Project Development
EOS has developed several of the UK’s largest renewable gas production facilities, adopting industry standard project finance structures, and working in partnership with leading contractors, professional advisers and investors in the sector. We have developed excellent working relationships with a broad range of infrastructure funders both in relation to new build assets and secondary market transactions.
By adopting appropriate principles of risk transfer in our projects, we ensure that our schemes are bankable as both development and refinancing opportunities, and that our schemes maintain operational and financial performance for our investors.
Consultancy
In addition to developing our own projects, from time to time we are asked to provide support to various market participants in connection with their own renewable energy schemes.
Our expertise in developing robust, fundable, projects provides us with the insight necessary to rapidly identify issues with existing schemes, and to develop and implement suitable rectification measures.
Whether it is a project encountering issues in an early stage of its development, a project looking to expand or refinance, or a funder looking to resolve issues with an existing investment, we have the expertise, network and market knowledge that can support your project.
Management Support
The renewable energy market is always moving swiftly and as we have multiple projects in all stages of development, helps us to be on top of the incoming legislation and provide up to date support to our clients the projects move through all stages of development. As new legislation comes in on food waste processes and Government incentives change regularly, we are able to plan ahead and make sure our projects are secure in getting the best deal available for our clients.
The financial side of these projects can be a minefield, but at EOS we have created pathways and management tools to ensure there is enough flex in all of our projects to enable paths can be diverted to meet any obstacles and changes in planning for example.
